Carrier 40MVC Comfort

High-Wall Duct-Free Split System
with Puron Refrigerant
40MVC/38MVC
40MVQ/38MVQ

The 38/40MVC(Q) eezt series duct--free split systems are a matched combination of an outdoor condensing unit and an indoor fan coil unit connected only by refrigerant tubing and wires. The fan coil is mounted on the wall, near the ceiling. This selection of fan coils permits inexpensive and creative solutions to design problems such as:

  • Add--ons to current space (an office or family room addition)
  • Special space requirements (a computer room)
  • When changes in the load cannot be handled by the existing system.
  • When adding air conditioning to spaces that are heating by hydronic or electric heat and have
    &nbspno ductwork.
  • Historical renovations or any application where preserving the look of the original structure is
    &nbspessential.

These compact indoor fan coil units take up very little space in the room and do not obstruct windows. The fan coils are attractively syled to blend with most room decors. Advanced system components incorporate innovative technology to provide reliable cooling performance at low sound levels.

    HUMCCLBP Performance Series

Dry, heated indoor air is often responsible for irritated sinuses, noses or throats, itchy skin, static electricity, and cracked woodwork, wallpaper and paint.

A humidifier is the solution. The humidifier evenly distributes moisture throughout the home to help eliminate the problems associated with dry, heated air. Also enjoy enhanced comfort and energy savings since humidified air actually feels warmer than dry air, meaning the thermostat can be set at a lower temperature for more economical operation.

    STANDARD FEATURES:

  • EASY ACCESS FOR CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
&nbspThe treated aluminum pad ensures top performance. Front access
&nbspdoor allows for quick and convenient removal and replacement of
    &nbsppad.

  • BUILT-IN BYPASS DAMPER ON LBP AND SBP MODELS

  • SMOOTH, LOW NOISE OPERATION
&nbspNearly silent operation is the result of Carrier's precision-
&nbspengineered Fan and Motor combination. Air is drawn through
&nbspthe evaporator pad quietly and efficiently, turning water into the
&nbspwater vapor that humidifies the home.

  • LONG LASTING, ATTRACTIVE COVER
&nbspThe outside casing of all Carrier Humidifiers are made from durable
&nbspUV-resistant plastic. This plastic resists deterioration, even when
&nbspexposed to ultra-violet light sources common in many systems.

  • OPTIMAL DISTRIBUTION OF MOISTURE
&nbspThrough the combination of Carrier's Solenoid Valve and water
&nbspdistribution system, homes will benefit from the optimal distribution
    &nbspof moisture.

  • FOUR HUMIDITY CONTROL OPTIONS
&nbspChoose between four separate control options Humidistat,
&nbspHumidiTrac, Thermidistat, and Infinity Control. Each
&nbspprovides precise control over the humidity levels in the home.

  • Carrier air conditioning

Carrier air conditioners are some of the most popular air conditioners in the world, but modern air conditioning as we know it only began in 1902 when Willis Carrier was commissioned to create a stable environment for a Brooklyn printing plant. The first 'Apparatus for Treating Air' prevented minor changes in the dimensions of the paper used, and thereby prevented misalignment of four inks utilized in the printing process.

The Carrier Corporation bearing his name was founded in 1915 and has become the world's largest manufacturer and distributor of heating, ventilating and air conditioning (HVAC) systems. It has since been acquired in 1979 and is now a wholly owned subsidiary of United Technologies Corporation.

Buyers should know that aside from the Carrier air conditioners brand, Carrier also owns several other popular central air conditioning brands including ArcoAire, Bryant, Comfortmaker, Day & Night, KeepitRite, Heil, Payne, Tempstar, and Totaline.

Carrier also owns commercial food refrigeration brand Tyler as well as Transicold, which specializes in refrigeration in transportation applications.

    Carrier Air Conditioners

Carrier is the world leader in air conditioning, heating and refrigeration systems. The Infinity Series Cooling system is the best in the industry with the most energy efficient results. The Infinity 18 Central Air Conditioner "is the only system in the industry that allow you to control temperature, humidity, air quality, fan speed, ventilation; and they even detect when your air filter needs replacing". The features below show why Carrier is #1 in residential air conditioners:
    • Highest energy efficiency — up to 18.0+ SEER with estimated energy cost savings up to 60%
    • Environmentally sound Puron refrigerant
    • Two-speed capability — operates on low speed 80% of the time
    • Quiet operation with Carrier’s Silencer System with sound ratings as low as 69 dB
    • Protected by Carrier’s WeatherArmor III enhanced condenser grille guard
    • Superior comfort and humidity control
    • Infinity Control Board for ultimate comfort
    • Improved indoor air quality
    • Self diagnostics
    • 10-year compressor limited warranty
    • Five-year parts limited warranty

    Air Conditioner Reviews

Air Conditioner Reviews usually take BTU and EER numbers into account. BTU stands for British Thermal Units, and these numbers can range from 5,000 to 18,000. The higher the BTU of an air conditioner, the more powerful it is at cooling. But it also increases the cost of the air conditioner. Normally, the BTU of an air conditioner required for cooling a room is calculated by multiplying the square foot area of the room by 35.

EER stands for Energy Efficiency Ratio. These numbers indicate the amount of energy they consume. An air conditioner with a higher EER will use less energy and hence will save money on electricity bills. EER numbers range from 8.2 to 10.5.

The brand leaders in the air conditioner market are Carrier, Kenmore, Whirlpool, Samsung, LG, Sharp, Panasonic and Friedrich. All are available in a wide range of BTU and EER ratings. Carrier air conditioners are by far the best. They are known for their extreme noiseless function, quick cooling and long lives of compressor and condenser. Carrier air conditioners are also the most expensive air conditioners in the market. Some of the newer Carrier models have replaced the environmentally harmful Freon-22 with Puron, a less polluting liquid.

Kenmore air conditioners also have excellent reviews in the air conditioner market. They are known for their high cooling capacities and extremely well advanced EERs, which cut electricity costs. Also their designs are quite sleek and contemporary, giving them the added edge over other air conditioners.

Whirlpool and LG also have good reputations, but they do better business in Asia. They are both reliable, trusted brands with good quality air conditioners at a comparatively lower price.

Due to the tremendous competition in the market of air conditioners, each brand spends millions of dollars in researching and perfecting new features every summer. Friedrich air conditioners have devised a money-saver feature, which saves electricity bills by making the fan move in synchronization with the cycle of the air conditioner itself. Most companies now use dehumidifiers and fragrances in their air conditioning ducts to lend them an added appeal.
